LTC Goudy Pro Font Poster

This poster was designed to showcase the historical background and distinctive letterforms of LTC Goudy Text Pro, a blackletter typeface originally created by Frederic Goudy in 1928. Inspired by the textura style of the Gutenberg Bible, the typeface carries the sharp angles, dense vertical rhythm, and ornamental qualities characteristic of early printed manuscripts. The poster highlights these features through a large, deconstructed ampersand — one of the typeface’s most expressive glyphs. Layered outlines, micro-typographic textures, and a restrained black-on-black palette emphasize the typeface’s structure while evoking the atmosphere of early print. The design aims to merge historical reference with contemporary visual clarity, creating an informative and visually striking typographic study.
