For this project, I was commissioned to design a unified layout system for a collection of lemon-inspired recipes. The goal was to create pages that were both approachable for everyday cooking and visually polished for presentation. I developed a modular grid and a clear typographic hierarchy, using bold serif headlines to bring energy and character to each recipe, paired with clean, readable body text for ingredient lists and directions. Consistent structural elements—such as the fixed “Serves” badge, side-by-side ingredient and instruction columns, and subtle divider lines—ensure that every recipe feels cohesive while accommodating different amounts of content. Generous white space keeps the layouts airy and easy to navigate, even when recipes include long steps or detailed descriptions. The final system delivers clarity, style, and flexibility, giving the client a recipe collection that is visually consistent and effortless to follow across all dishes.
